The Kumite: Night 1

The Road to the Crown Starts Here

The Kumite: Night 1 Preview Show

Location: Temporal Arena (Broadcast from Vince-64's war room)

Hosts: Multiverse JR, Mean Gene-64, and cyber-cohost "Corey Glitchson"

Format: Pre-taped promos, studio interviews, and a few backstage altercations.

[Opening Segment - Vince-64's Declaration]

Vince stands in front of the glowing Kumite Bracket.

Vince-64:

"I have assembled the greatest collection of warriors the cosmos has ever known. On this bracket... are immortals. On this bracket... are frauds. When The Kumite begins, your favorites will fall. And the true heir to the throne of WrassleVerse 64 will be revealed..."

[Interview Segment: CM Punk & Bret Hart - "The Mirror Match"]

Mean Gene-64 sits down with Bret Hart, who calmly says:

"Punk talks a lot about 'best in the world'... but I wrote the book on that phrase. I'm not here for nostalgia--I'm here to finish what I started."

CM Punk appears via split screen, arms crossed:

"Bret, you were the blueprint. But I'm the evolution. You're the Excellence of Execution--I'm the Revolution of Rebellion. And in this Kumite, I'm breaking the mold... and your pride."

Tension builds as the screen glitches out--suggesting only one will survive "The Mirror Match."

[Promo: Steve Austin - "The King Snake"]

Austin cuts a to-the-point promo in the parking lot:

"Ric Flair? He's still struttin' like it's '88. That's fine. Let him style and profile. But I'm here to stomp a mudhole in the past and walk it dry. Stone Cold's gonna run through this tournament like a runaway beer truck--and that's the bottom line."

[Backstage Confrontation: The Rock & LA Knight - "Mirrorball Mayhem"]

LA Knight crashes The Rock's interview with Corey Glitchson.

LA Knight: "Everybody's talkin' about how I sound like you. But when I walk into that ring, I make it MINE. You're yesterday's megastar. I'm the now, yeah."

The Rock: "You want to be me so bad, you even stole my cadence. But there's one thing you don't got, junior--it. And I don't mean LA Knight--I mean your candy-ass ain't The Rock."

A shoving match breaks out before security separates them. Match intensity instantly escalates.

[Promo: Kenny Omega - "Wrestling's Final Form"]

Kenny stands in front of a glitching data wall, arms spread like a messiah.

"This tournament is a simulation. And in every possible outcome... I win. Shawn Michaels may have been the Showstopper. But I'm the God Slayer. Welcome to the endgame."

[Interview: Shawn Michaels - "The Icon Awakens"]

Backstage, Shawn smirks at the camera.

"Omega thinks he's found a higher plane. But I've already lived it. I've already bled for it. I'm not wrestling for algorithms--I'm wrestling for soul. And in this bracket? The Heartbreak Kid's got a date with destiny."

[Promo: Sting - "The Silent Watcher"]

Dark arena. Sting in black and white paint. One word whispered:

"Retribution."

Cut to black. No further explanation.
